This gives me access to markets at a national level; although I’m an independent broker who works on my own this effectively gives me exactly the same buying power as the large national firms and is one of the reasons my fees are still competitive. It also means I only ever deal with quality insurers, mostly household names you will be familiar with. Whenever I’m asked what I do, I hesitate before saying I’m an Insurance Broker.
