The management team are former directors of Stannifer Developments Ltd and have an established track record in the delivery of development projects across the UK including major mixed use city centre regeneration, city office buildings, leisure, out of town retail and stand alone food stores. Having furthered their careers in the UK property industry within separate development companies following the sale of Stannifer in 2004, the management team recognised the opportunity for value creation within a recovering property market through their collective property and development expertise and formed Swanvale in 2010.

Richard has been designing and publishing games through his own company R&D Games since 1989. Richard is known for his 'Key' series family of games, including Keyflower (BGG top 25 game), Keythedral (previously BGG top 100) and Keydom (recognised as the first 'worker placement' game), as well as other notable games such as Aladdin's Dragons, Inhabit the Earth and Reef Encounter. Richard's sister Juliet Breese is the artist on most of the R&D games with Richard creating the graphics. R&D currently release a game a year at Spiel, Essen and distributes the Game Salute (US) and Hutter Trade (rest of the world).
