I am the founder of Richard Brown Property Consultancy Limited providing property consultancy advice. I established my company in 2014 and since then I have advised:- Birmingham City Council/Network Rail on the delivery and opening of Grand Central in Birmingham as Development Director; - NEC Group (and Birmingham City Council) developing a masterplan to promote their respective land interests for future development alongside the delivery of HS2;- Heathrow Airport creating a Commercial Strategy for its estate with the opportunity presented by a third runway; - Birmingham City Council (acting as Programme Director) exchanging a development agreement with Lendlease on Smithfield Birmingham, a £2bn regeneration project.- Birmingham City Council (acting as Project director) providing strategic advice to manage and grow a wholly owned company. I have over 30 years experience in the industry.Prior to forming my company, I spent 9 years working for Hammerson plc masterplanning and delivering regional shopping centres including Highcross in Leicester anchored by a John Lewis department store.I am a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
