• Monitor machinery/facility maintenance program for compliance with schedule and performance duties• Review inventory levels, and order and/or make procurement requests for needed production materials, chemicals, supplies, PPE, tools, and replacement parts• Review/analyze overall plant operations and provide assessment• Facilitate implementation of improved process and organizational change• Ensure entire staff strictly adhere to all SOPs including PPE use, safety procedures, and chemical handling• Provide continuing oversight and training of staff to increase knowledge, skills, and abilities• Contribute to facility technology transfer and ongoing maintenance of mixed model lines and value streams• Participate in planning of new plants, production lines, equipment modifications, and the continuous improvement of company operations using lean and Good Manufacturing Practices• Analyze equipment, space, and methods to increase efficiency, safety, and quality, and reduce costs/waste
