I have been in the coffee industry for 18 years, beginning with my first cafe in 2006, my career has taken me from behind a coffee machine to coffee farms in Colombia, washing stations in Burundi to head judging the World Barista Championships. My work with World Coffee Events has taken me all over the world teaching WCE Rules & Regulations and hosting national coffee championships. My work in Raw Material has been some of the most rewarding. Developing and building new relationships with in-country partners for project work in Rwanda and Burundi and connecting coffee buyers with meaningful and impact-driven coffee value chains all over the world. I was a Certified Q-Grader between 2015-18 and volunteered for the Coffee Quality Institute and the Coffee Corps Programme. At the beginning of 2021, I stepped into the Managing Director role of Inigo Coffee Group and back into the 'dark' (roasted) side of the industry.Companies include Flight Coffee Limited, Black Bag Roasters NZ Limited, The Hangar Limited.
