Repair and maintain aluminum die casting machines, presses, gas and induction furnaces. Directly responsible for all equipment, machine, and facility maintenance. Ensured any electrical changes and new machine installations adhered to NEC and OSHA standards. Installed safety interlock systems on machine guarding and implemented a LOTO program for operators, maintenance technicians, and set-up / process technicians. Managed ordering and stocking of machine and facility spare parts inventory. Installed/implemented an ABB robot into the process of the machine without PLC access by hard wiring the robot into the relay logic to assist in the casting/trimming process.

Repair and maintain assembly robots, and general assembly line, troubleshoot PLC programming, diagnose and repair electrical problems. Work directly with an engineer to develop a training room to aid in technician development.
