I have worked within the employee benefits sector for over 30 years, specialising in group risk and healthcare benefits both domestically and globally. My experience spans employers of all sizes, from small high street retailers, to multinational law firms and investment banks, and media services businesses. I advise clients on managing complicated flexible benefits programmes, salary sacrifice arrangements, healthcare trust implementation and servicing, and global benefits programmes on top of the day to day running of benefits programmes. Part of my focus has shifted over the previous few years, working with multinational clients to manage their global benefits programmes effectively and I work closely with the global insurance companies who are able to offer such programmes. I believe that many global business are still unaware of global spend and furthermore global offering, without either there can be no sense of global strategy. A well thought out global programme is likely to realise significant premium savings too and during a time where businesses globally are looking to reduce costs, our business is well placed to support any such programme.Outside of work, I live in Hertfordshire, with my amazing family who take up most of my time. Having been a failed musician for years, I am currently spending time on writing and production which is incredibly difficult and fun. Having lived in France for a year, as part of my degree course, I spend as much time as I can travelling around the various regions over there.
