I started my company over a decade ago after the company I worked at closed its doors. A co-worker encouraged me to create my company and try my hand at consulting to finish up some remaining work for our clients. I was very excited and enjoyed every bit of the experience. Eventually, I found myself getting a full-time job with Altum to continue building out the software that we started with Arlington Group. Sadly, I was again laid off and decided to go back to my consulting roots and get serious about getting Davric Consulting back on track providing digital bookkeeping services, financial analysis, and personal money guide. At Davric, we are enthusiastic and dedicated professionals. We are a small company able to navigate challenges nimbly and offer outstanding attention to your projects and processes. We investigate and diagnose each problem thoroughly and shape a solution that best fits the mission. Not all problems need a complicated solution, the simple path usually wins in the end. I had been working as a contractor for Community Brands (Gravitate Solutions Brand) for four years and a co-worker asked me why I don't join the team full time. Well, she was right! Gravitate is a great company and have enjoyed being part of this company and watching it grow. As a Project Manager and Business Analyst, I'm able to directly work with my client to provide solutions that help their mission.

It was a sunny afternoon in Charlotte, North Carolina when an ex-coworker texted me that Altum had an opening for me to work on the software that I worked on at Arlington Group. Yay! After I accepted the position, I moved back to the Washington D.C. Metro Area. I had a range of roles at Altum spanning from Subject Matter Expert, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance Analyst. Whew, that was fun to put a lot of my skills to use!As as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Business Analyst (BA), I provided expertise on all aspects of the software, grants management and process driven workflows that helped cut processing times from grant application to award. I also recommended and designed product features to meet market trends and demands.As a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, I ensured our clients received a thoroughly tested deliverable with minimal or no defects. As a Manager, I maintained client relationships support services for seven concurrent clients, each at different points in their implementation life-cycle and provided cross-reference capability with regards to change requests and support activities to better serve each client.Working at Altum and with my clients was awesome! An experience I'll never forget.

I had just been laid off from The Arlington Group in McLean, VA and decided to move to Charlotte, NC and stay with a college friend. I thought - what the heck, I'm still young to take a chance and start a new adventure. I then started to work for Lash Group as a contractor and eventually was hired on as a full-time employee.I worked on a variety of projects as the Business Analyst to gather and document business requirements and specifications. It was my responsibility to make sure that the delivery of the change or feature met the business unit's specifications and with no defects.I also worked as a subject matter expert on the software for the company's foundation. I was tasked to help stabilize the product and provide expertise in developing out the features to maximize the efficiency in the workflow process.Working for Lash Group was fantastic and the people at Lash Group are dedicated and have great purpose.

My respect for the owner of the company is very high. I started at the company as a Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA). After a couple of months I realized that the style of managing projects/clients was vastly different from my experiences. I discussed this with the owner and provided her with a solution that the projects need a full-time Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure quality deliverables. Instead of letting me go, her comment was that she hired a person and all of their skills not just a position and was happy that I presented solutions to help the company grow. The quality department grew to five resources, reduced the failure rates for all clients and established a help desk support for clients.Unfortunately, the company closed and all employees were let go. The owner made sure that all employees were fully vested and received severance. However, there were a handful of employees, including myself, that were asked to stay on for another six weeks to finish work for one of our clients. At the end of this additional work, I moved to North Carolina and started my own company.Arlington Group was an amazing experience and provided opportunities for my future.

I started with IMC after graduate school and dove right in to learn and apply myself. I worked mainly as a business analyst and project manager in various industries such as trucking, pharmaceutical, insurance, non-profit, and banking (to name a few), to implement document imaging and workflow systems, web-based solutions and custom software.At IMC, I worked my way up from consultant to lead consultant and was one of the youngest employees to be promoted to Principal. It was an honor and privilege to serve as an adviser to the company's leadership and be a go to person for co-workers and clients.IMC was a terrific start to my career and experience in information technology consulting.
