- In my PhD, I was interested in developing computer models that can predict crack propagation in metals under fatigue loading. My project, EUROS, was directed towards applying this method to model crack growth in offshore wind turbines. I worked on high speed braking, setting up a vehicle model in MapleSim (Multi-body software), comparing bushing models, converting K& C test data to CarMaker and performing computational analysis of flexible bodies using Abaqus for multi-body software.
