Directed a statewide transportation system for the State of Georgia. This system is one of the most progressive in the country, being fully coordinated and providing services to multiple human service populations. The sytem provides transportation to over 17,000 clients with approximately 2.6 million trips annually. As Program Director oversaw a staff of 34 located throughout the state, and administered a budget of approximately 30 million dollars comprised of multiple fund sources. Postion required using leadership, budget administration and planning skills. Worked closely with the State Department's of Transportation, Labor, Community Health, and other state agencies. In addition, contracted with Fulton, DeKalb and Gwinnett counties to provide services to their clients.
