As Head of Marketing at Box Technologies, it is critical that I manage the profile, products and messaging across every medium of communication we use. With the meteoric rise in the use of digital media and social networks, Box Technologies needs to ensure it accurately and succinctly presents its solutions to its target audience.Box Technologies has changed in the last few years; moving from a distributor and reseller of the leading well-know 3rd EPoS products and peripherals to launching and promoting its own range of high quality IT products using the cielo brand as its overarching identity.Cielo from Box now includes a range of EPoS terminals, all-in-one systems and modular PC variants. Cielo from Box also offers a wide range of multi-touch digital signage monitors from 8" to 70" all backed by the same attention to details and quality for which Box is renown. Cielo branding has recently been extended to Box Technologies' classic range of customer engagement kiosks too.In May 2014 Box launched its Windows 8.1 Industry touch tablet under the cielo brand and integrated with a Chip & PIN reader and barcode scanner. Most importantly, this represents Box Technologies' commitment to Microsoft Windows Embedded operating systems and its firm belief in the future of the enterprise tablet for retail, hospitality and field service applications where the ubiquitous iPad and its look-alikes have been found wanting through a lack of durability and the ability to integrate with overwhelmingly Windows IT infrastructures.
