The James Fund is Wofford College's student-led investment fund. The fund's assets are allocated across five asset classes—Domestic Equity, International Equity, Real Estate, Fixed Income, and Alternatives. During my junior year (2015-16), I managed the Alternatives & Domestic Equity Portfolio, and in my senior year (2016-17), I managed the Fixed Income & Domestic Equity Portfolio.More than the typical student-led fund, the James Fund also conducts a micro-finance program, in conjunction with the non-profit Meds & Food For Kids, that helps bring financial stability to hundreds of farmers and craftsmen in the northern regions of Haiti. The micro-lending program has been a success for over five years and is currently in an expansion phase.

Wilson Growth Partners, LLC (WGP) is a business strategy consulting firm founded by Geoffery Wilson, a former management consultant at McKensey & Company and former Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development at Milliken & Company.During my internship, I worked on a business strategy engagement team for a middle-market industrial firm. To investigate and present potential growth opportunities, I was responsible for: • Sizing and value chain analysis of end markets. • Margin analysis of existing product lines from raw cost accounting data. • Building deliverables and assisting in their presentation. • Collaboration with the engagement team and the client's ELT on-site.
