A Chemical Engineer and Scientist from Dallas, TX, I design and deploy manufacturing process technology and automation, harnessing physical models and machine learning methods. I've operated in some of the largest steel mills (ATI Brackenridge and Washington), oil refineries (Shell Technology Center and Deer Park), and polymer plants (INEOS Chocolate Bayou) in the United States. My experience spans production, pilot plant, and lab-scale operations across the Nanotechnology, Oil & Gas, Plastics, Steel & Specialty Alloys, Microfluidics, and Construction sectors. In that time, I've worked for individual clients, non-profits, startups, research institutes, and Fortune 500 companies, implementing technical solutions for brownfield CapEx projects between $1 and $500 million. I'm currently applying my skills as a Process Control and Automation Models Engineer with ATI Materials just south of Pittsburgh (Washington, PA).In 2022, I defended my M.S. thesis in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, graduating from the University of Pittsburgh. My research focused on nanoscale materials science simulation, with applications in catalysis and anti-corrosion coatings. This work was supported by the NSF and collaborators at Los Alamos and is published in the Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation and the Journal of Physical Chemistry C. During my B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Rice University in Houston, TX, my work was published in Physical Review Fluids.
