My teams role was to create and deliver CAM Programs, Technical Instructions and associated Engineering activities to support PCO Operations and machining assets. The team is cross-functional interacting with several Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Departments to deliver the business requirements. I would act as the Technical Authority for CAM programs and associated Engineering activities, ensuring product integrity, production rate, cost and quality were met. I use corporate process landscapes such as Siemens Teamcentre, Siemens NX and SAP to program manage, validate and execute engineering tasks to ensure safe manufacturing processes capable of achieving the design intent, meeting the required production rate, encouraging cost saving and achieving on time delivery to the business. I play a pivotal role in NPI of various Valve components, developing and delivering the most efficient and effective Method of Manufacture, assisting internal stakeholders to ensure drawing and quality requirements were complete and design for manufacture studies were appropriate and unambiguous before the project was launched.
