Established UCF-Cirent semiconductor materials characterization facility. Installed and ran 1.7MV Tandetron accelerator. Acted as industry expert in acquiring one-of-a-kind Heavy Ion Backscattering System (HIBS) accelerator from Sandia National Laboratories. Coached and evaluated graduate students, including serving on thesis committees. Co-taught graduate course on ion beam material analysis in 1999 and 2001. Designed new high resolution TEM facility. Converted RBS analysis programs from DOS BASIC to Excel, expanding usefulness and improving portability.
