Ground-truthing GPS cluster data; Assisting in hound hunts to capture, perform work up, and release mountain lions; overnight monitoring of baited cage traps; setting up bait stations; use of radio-telemetry (omni- and yagi- antennae) to locate collared pumas; setting up, monitoring, and maintenance of remote trail cameras on public and private land; speaking with land owners about placement of remote cameras; operating a 4WD and ATV vehicle.

Duties include: working on house remodels (minor plumbing and electrical work, laying floor, installation of windows and doors, installation of trim and baseboard, sheet-rocking, painting, repair/replace siding, framing, and demolition) and landscaping (building retaining walls, tree removal, clearing debris, pruning trees and hedges, and building walkways)

Capture, handle, process, and release of live condors; Radio-telemetry (omni and yagi) tracking; Supervise volunteers; Monitoring and recording condor movements, behaviors, and interactions; Observing and recording feeding behaviors; Use of GIS to obtain location on individual animals; Speaking with the public and local community members about a high-profile endangered species; Monitoring breeding behavior and nests; Handling animal carcasses used for bait stations; Maintenance of equipment and facilities.
