Over a decade of experience in engineering and product design has enabled the opportunity for me to successfully hone a variety of skills on many levels; this has involved the application of engineering principles, creative problem solving and a keen eye for design aesthetics and ergonomics. Working in a range of industries including recreational vehicles and construction, the projects I have completed range from product lifecycle development to change and project management and design for manufacture, whether that be bespoke, batch or mass production. These projects were delivered to high standards and norms for gas, electrical, quality and environmental applications. In all of the roles I have fulfilled, I have satisfied the requirements of customer focused design projects, revolutionised the handling of fast paced change management requests, and been instrumental in the application of innovative NPD strategies to adopt technologies via disruptive methods. This has been achieved through a results driven approach with an awareness of cost sensitivity and an advocacy for standardisation in terms of design, process and procedures.
