Private organization dedicated to the production of plant-based, non-enteric vaccines for oral innoculation; particularly endemic in 3rd world countries. Broad public and private business management experience. I built and managed a comprehensive cancer center's Technology Transfer and Commercialization department, strategically accelerating the economic benefit of intellectual property, creating innovative and profitable licensing agreement both nationally and internationally, and launching a variety of local startup companies. I reorganized all commercialization, commercial licensing, collaborative research and partnering activities for intellectual property originating out of Roswell Park. In addition, I secured a $1millon venture seed fund to de-risk internal technology development prior to licensing. Internationally, I successfully negotiated and executed licensing contracts for Roswell medical technologies into Chinese pharmaceutical companies and was an invited speaker by the governor of Xi’an Province, China, on the process of commercialization of Western medical technologies into Central and Western China. I held a broad range of positions within the Health Care Division of the 3M Corporation from lab scientist through market analyst, product development, manufacturing, commercialization, marketing and business manager. In the process I led a number of product development teams from product concept through commercialization demonstrating my ability to work with a broad variety of diverse professionals. I was responsible for the identification and commercialization of numerous medical products utilized by the medical device and food testing industries generating over $190 million in annual revenues, and obtaining a Six Sigma qualification in the process.I possess a combination of skills and experiences identifying and commercializing important technologies in both private and public organizations with a clear eye on their business potential.
