About Richard Merced
I am someone who has a talent for quickly mastering technology, assimilating to different industries, and embracing change. Currently, I am a Technical Instructor for two programs at NFAR: Tech and Cyber Security. Tech program covers Software Testing (ISTQB-CTFL Certification) from manual testing to automated testing using WebDriverIO. Cyber Security course covers CompTIA A+, N+, and S+ certifications. Both courses are approximately nine months long and help our participants gain the tech and soft skills for the respective industries. I've always had a passion for technology. In 2021 I challenged myself to learn full stack web development in a coding bootcamp. To me, coding was a fun puzzle that could have many solutions. I had a blast building, creating, and learning code. I enjoy meeting new people and being creative when needing to find solutions.
