All work was Planned and a Schedule created in Primavera. Estimated project budgets and Monitored and Controlled Costs. Ensured regular reporting on projects was completed and communicated to stakeholders. Consulted with Engineering and client Project Managers on all projects to ensure alignment with project requirements. Assisted the company to develop and follow standard procedures for all work.

Sarnia

Accountable for the success of a team including Engineers, Planner/Schedulers, Controllers and Coordinators to successfully initiate, plan, execute, control and close all Major Maintenance and NTAC projects assigned to me including, a New Pipe Rack, two Acid and Caustic Water Treatment Systems, a new Air Drier Set and a Water Chiller Replacement. Led a team to develop and Engineer a complete new Water Treatment Plant and install 3 new Compressor Sets in a new building to supply the entire Sarnia Cogen plant with better water for the boilers and reliable air compressors. Other accountabilities also included a Boiler 7 minor inspection, a Steam Turbine Overhaul at our Windsor Plant and a 30 day Steam Turbine Major Outage on our TG821 Steam Turbine in Sarnia. These were completed successfully by achieving or exceeding all targets on budget, safety, timeline and scope.

Lead Planner on Boiler #7 Re-certification Outage, Mississauga Steam Turbine Major Outage and Sarnia TG861 Steam Turbine Outage., Developed scope with Engineering and Operations, developed detailed work plans, scheduled Outages in Primavera and co-ordinated all material requirements with SCM. Liaise with main contractor for timelines , scope development, schedule, etc. Work with routine maintenance to include their scope for Outage, Assist procurement in contractor selection, Develop work packages for Outage.

Build work packages for field execution complete with necessary drawings and procedures. Estimate and resource load work orders. Visit work site to ensure all necessary resources are captured including scaffolding, cranes, insulation, electrical and any interferences that may require additional resources. Consult with Engineering as required for work package input. Work with Operations and Trade leads to ensure package completeness. Create requisitions for materials and services. Turnaround Planner/Scheduler at PetroCanada's Refinery Conversion Project for Utilities and Offsites. Developed written scopes of work. Developed schedule for Offsites and Utilities in Primavera. Worked with field planner to estimate work packages. Consulted with Engineering for correct information in planned packages. Participated in client schedule review meetings. Consulted with client to ensure all required work and timelines were reflected in the schedule. Modified schedule per clients timeline requests. Managed and updated schedule during turnaround for Offsites and Utilities.

Develop Outages in accordance with Outage Management Procedure. This included facilitating meetings with the various stakeholders and management and determining what work was necessary based on Risk Rankings. Develop associated work orders for Outage in SAP CMMS, including procuring outside contractors and vendors for materials. Develop work orders such that safety is built into them and all relevant procedures are attached. Produce field work packages for the Outages. Create requisitions for all necessary materials and contractors. Ensure availability of major suppliers for things such as Catalysts, Tower Trays, Exchanger parts, Compressor parts and all personnel to do this work. Work with Engineering to develop Scopes for Outage. Develop schedule in Primavera. Work with Operations to capture their required timelines in the schedule and any necessary resources they will require for assistance in doing so. Attend daily meetings during Outage to update schedule and be available to assist coordinators with materials or technical specifications.

Coordinator and Planner for Outages. Plan work orders in SAP CMMS. Procure materials and services. Develop field work packages. Lead craft workers in the Outage execution. Work with Operations to ensure blanking lists and drain and vent locations are identified prior to the Outage. Ensure all resources and materials are made available for Outage. Lead all outside Contractors procured for the Outage. Attend daily meetings and report progress to scheduling and management team. Resolve material, labor and planning issues that were unforeseen.

Mississauga On

Craft Superintendant for White Oil Complex Turnaround. Site visit all work packages as put together and ensure scaffolds are adequate, insulation removed, etc for a "ready to go' status. See that estimating is accurate and provide input as necessary. Review resource requirements and see that all materials required are available. Ensure all safety precautions have been taken and resources available to ensure this. Attend meetings with Operations and Turnaround management to ensure ready status. Review schedule with craft people prior to Outage. Assign various foremen to their respective areas of responsibility. Ensure schedule progress is updated by foremen. Resolve conflicts with craft people. Site visit during every shift to see that all scheduled work is on track. Remove barriers to work completion as necessary.

Craft Superintendant for Suncor Upgrader Base Plant. Complete all scheduled and break-in work as directed by management. Consult with Operations every morning to see if there are any priorities that need immediate attention. Ensure all craft leads know what there teams are working on that day. Attend morning meeting with coordinators and management to coordinate the days efforts. Resolve any conflicts with craft people. Ensure Operations has given permission to work on scheduled and non-scheduled items as appropriate. Make sure materials and equipment required to complete work are made available. Consult with Engineering as required. Ensure all safety regulations are strictly adhered to and all procedures to do so are available. Report daily progress to scheduler. Prepare for next day ahead of time.

Sarnia

Piping Superintendant for 2004 Turnaround Suncor Sarnia Refinery. Manage all Pipefitters for the Turnaround and their Foreman. 160 Men and 22 Foremen. Work with Building Trade Union to ensure manpower availability and correctly qualified. Hire all men as needed. Ensure work packages are distributed to areas as required. Divide foremen and manpower up according to the amount of work in an area. Ensure completion of same on schedule. Participate in integrated job reviews prior to shutdown and resolve any conflicts with other crafts. Consult with Operations regarding availability of permits for work, resolve any conflicts.
