Conversa Solutions is a Cellular Software Company that programs any software needed for the owners of the phones to work with their particular cellular network. It is an innovative and dynamic company skilled with their own in-house software engineers. It is a company that has grown very fast in the industry and is a very successful independent key in the cellular business today. We processed up to 60,000 phones per month through our facility giving the customer a turn-key operation. We would receive the inventory to work on, process it with the new software required, install new pad printing on the phone, new boxes and manuals, quick start guides and ship them direct to anywhere in the world the owner needed them shipped. All this work with 100% success rate. My job was to train employees, create the training documentation and laison with engineers to make this happen. Schedule all shifts, document hourly and daily production schedules to get the jobs processed on time. I would work with all teams to create a cohesive work environment to get the job done. I would report directly to the owners and carry out their work demands. Conversa had approximately 50 employees and we would always meet our customers demands. I only left because my initial job was to take part in streamlining the business, warehouse, processes and procedures. I accomplished that within the year and a half I was employed there and wanted to pursue my bachelors degree in business. They are a great team to be a part of and I wish the company great success.

Was hired to run this one project until completion. The job was to add ADA compliant units with wheel chair lifts and additions and make the units accessible for wheel chair bound individuals and their families. It was a year and a half long project which entailed adding full basement additions, straight stairwells and widen doors and make bathrooms and kitchens wheel chair accessible. We added approximately 38 additions and rehabilitated a common community center for the complex and complied with all city permits and inspections during the job. I worked with Jason Burros of the Detroit Housing Commission on behalf of my client GM Engineers to complete the project on time and on budget. Dealt with all break-ins and aided the housing commission in procuring a safer way to protect all door and window entries while construction was proceeding until a tenant was in the unit. Performed follow up punch list procedures until unit was in compliance with the housing commission. Ordered all supplies for sub contractors to complete their contracts. Hired sub contractors. Monitored subcontractors progress scheduled all on site inspections with Architects and Engineers. Applied for permits in the beginning and applied for certificates of occupancy at the end of the job. Satisfied the Detroit Housing Commission with a turn key operation. Gave clear direction to the sub contractors so they knew what was expected of them. Dealt with all company paper work to keep the job flying along. Produced daily job log reports and held weekly documented safety meetings on site. Met with OSHA on site to satisfy working condition safety requirements. Maintained a safe working environment daily and fenced off any open trenches on a daily basis to keep a safe working environment. Alerted Detroit Housing Officials when concealed damage was discovered so as to rectify the unforeseen damage ASAP. Maintained an office on site throughout the project. Finished the job on time and on budget.

This restaurant had burned down in Lake Orion, MI. I had previously remodeled this owners Sagebrush Cantina. After the fire he had gone through three general contractors and got down to near the end of the job and the general contractor walked off due to a dispute in payments. There were attorneys involved when I came on the scene. My owners attorney suggested he hire me as a cost effective way to resolve the dispute. The general complied to a certain point when working with me to resolve building issues. I assured my owner if the general didn't comply completely I could finish the job for him on his behalf. So that is what happened. I created a schedule to open in two months and got the restaurant open December 23rd, 2006. The owner was happy and back in business making money. I stayed on for six more months working out other related issues with sub contractors and city issues until all were satisfied. The owner thanked me for a job well done.

Built commercial restaurants: Pursued a lucrative contract with Starbucks and built over 38 Starbucks in Michigan and 8 in Chicago, Illinois over a 3 year period. We worked with many national chains such as American Eagle Outfitters, Starbucks, Montana Cookhouse - Canadian Franchise Chain, AhMoore' Coffee, Dolly's Pizza, Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Carl's Junior, Choclolad Chocolate Factory, Pretzel Time, Tropical Squeeze and many individual stores. Maintained a staff of 35 employees. We self performed all millwork, drywall, rough and finished carpentry. Processed all city, county, federal, and state paper work needed to file or obtain permits and scheduled all inspections with all municipalities to complete the job on time and on budget.

Bid jobs, once awarded would produce contracts for sub contractors or hire needed employees to perform all needed tasks; produced submittals for Architect approval; Produced the project schedule using Microsoft Project to meet the open target date for the customer. Would procure insurance and permits needed to get the job completed. Always passed Health Inspections first time around. Maintained a good working relationship with the Oakland County and Wayne County Health Departments. Produced all change order paper work throughout the job and negotiated good / fair prices for those changes to keep cost to a minimum. Always completed every job on time and on budget for the owners and met the targeted open dates.

Retired 27 years USAF. Refueling Specialist on the KC-135 refueling Strato Tanker. Being in the military you realize that all of your missions or jobs are goal oriented and designed to meet the overall mission accomplishment. I completed real missions (6000 flying hours with 1000 in combat). I served in Humanitarian efforts like Hurricane and volcanic evacuations to combat missions (Desert Storm, Kosovo Conflict, Bosnian Conflict - Operation Deliberate Guard; Operation Desert Shield. I was a boom operator/ Load master. Safety was always paramount because anything could happen in the air when two planes are in close proximity of each other. Extra Duties performed were: 10 years, Crew resource manager (CRM) instructor for the 927th Air Refueling Wing. I trained for the job at NASA. I was also a Squadron career counselor and systems trainer. I held the position of Boom Operator Instructor (trained other men and women to become boom operators). Held a top secret clearance with the government from 1976 until December of 2003.

Owner/ all job duties related to the company operations - long term and day to day. Purchasing of all equipment and supplies, hiring and firing of all employee's. Managed over 50 employees for six years. Types of roofing & sheet metal roofing applications were: Standing Seam (owned are own roll former). Built and ran a sheet metal shop to fabricate all needed flashings for jobs. Hot tar, tile, wood shake and wood shingles, Gerard Stone steel panels and many other specialty types of metal roofs (copper, lead and Zinc, all curved metal roof applications also).

Troubleshot & Repaired Autopilot, Instrument, Navigation, Radar & Flight Control Systems. Aircraft qualified to work on were: F-111's, F-16's, F-15's, C-141's & B-1 Bombers. I spent 10 years in the Avionics Maintenance field (after getting out of active duty I remained in the Air Force Reserves). Air Force Reserve stations were Norton AFB, CA - Autopilot and Instrument Specialist on C-141's. March AFB, CA - worked on the F-4 Pave Spike Laser Guided Missile Project.

Rancho Truss Plant Operations including purchasing of train loads of wood from Montana to our own rail spur into our truss yard. Ran two shifts of truss assemblers with 6 jig tables per shift. I assisted in computerizing our truss plant from manual engineering to computerized engineered wall and trusses, producing cut list for the sawyers into labeled trusses for home tract projects. Coordinated all field repairs and drivers schedules for deliveries. Dealt with all customers and their orders to job sites. Hired and fired all employee's during my tenure to streamline operations. After computerizing, new suppliers and purchasing set in place and a newly developed and trained work force was established my job was complete. I enjoyed the challenge and the owners thanked me. I was a great experience.

Ran day to day field operations: responsible for approximately 50 employees. Scheduled crews for daily jobs throughout the southern California area. Dealt with salesman to make sure job was bid correctly. Followed up with customers to make sure they were happy and satisfied with their job. Checked daily on the crews. Ordered all supplies for delivery or took them personally to the job site. followed up with crews at the end of the day to make sure they had the supplies they needed for the following day. Hired and fired all roofers. We completed hot tar, tile, metal, shingles, wood shake and wood shingles.

Mini Computer Operations Specialist: worked in a tandem office (long distance switching office) running the minicomputer operations for the whole southern California long distance switching network. Ran & repaired 4E and 4A switching machines. Trouble shot and repaired, wiring, relays, computer boards to keep the machine running efficiently. Worked with Bell Lab Techs & hardware suppliers to maintain smooth operations of the long distance network. Backed up computer systems nightly, monthly. Work toward eligibility towards management before divestiture of the company in 1986.

I worked as a Technician for the school (paid position) during my three years at the high school and my senior year was the head technician in charge of all musical, theatrical, and outside group productions. during my three year tenure, I ran a Big Band Jazz series - from bands of the 40's. I was in charge of all lighting, sound, stage productions and meeting with the vendors to determine their specific requirements then running the performances successfully.

Getting the newspaper to each and every customer daily 365 days a year for three years. I delivered the paper for three years and increased my route from 45 customers to over 100 over the three year period. I sold my routs for three times what I paid for it in 1972. I learned at a very young age how to satisfy my customers and how important it was for your business to maintain personal relationships with customers. People liked me and I liked them. It was a very satisfying experience for an 11 year old.
