About Richard Parsons

I am an attorney at Kravitz, Brown & Dortch. I focus my practice on postconviction criminal defense, with an emphasis in representing clients before the Ohio Parole Board. I also represent clients in civil, commercial, and mineral rights litigation. I have obtained verdicts or favorable settlements for clients in a wide variety of cases.In my free time, I volunteer at the Columbus Legal Aid Society’s Brief Advice Legal Clinics and am member of the Board of Directors of NNEMAP, one of the largest food pantries in Central Ohio. I have also participated Pelotonia, am an assistant class agent for Carleton College's Annual Alumni Fund, and provide pro bono counsel to Hogar Irekuani, an orphanage in Morelia, Mexico.
