My name is Richard Platt, I am attending Miami University and studying for my Bachelor's degree in the Farmer School of Business.I first stepped foot into the business world at the age of 14 when I started working for MyEducationDiscount, where I contributed to the business's mission of connecting businesses to educators. In addition, my employment at Advanced Tent Solutions gave me hands-on experience coordinating logistics and enhancing customer experiences.Currently, I’m navigating through my junior year as an undecided business major. I am constantly exploring different areas to find my desired field. I’m balancing multiple business courses along with being a board member within my fraternity to develop not only my technical skills but my leadership skills as well.A few goals I have for my near future is to dial into a specific field of business I'd like to explore more. I have an interest in data management and analytics. My strong organizational skills gel perfectly with my interests. I intend to apply for an internship to get more hands-on experience in this field of business I am leaning towards.
