Carrying out essential refurbishment during the drill rig installation shut down period. So far i have taken a key role in the following projects. Overhaul draw-works machinery,overhaul anchor winches. Carried out fabrication of air duct spooling and compressed air pipework. Carry out essential maintenance of high capacity centrifugal lift pumps. Carry out maintenance of three main engines. Overhauled rotary table. Replaced numerous winch air regulator/lubricator systems. later fully employed by Transocean as Motorman to be moved to Mechanic.

Engineering maintenance and overhauling projects. Including the replacement of ballast pumps, also in particular the replacement of blow out protection stabilisation shieve bearings which is a first as the work has never been undertaken since the building of the seven series rigs. Myself and Mike Blake are now the project experts in this field. We look forward to applying this expertise to many more.
