Execute warehouse management to include shipping, receiving, organizing, storage, inventorying, of customer equipment and related materials for numerous banking corporations such as SunTrust, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, BB&T, Sharonview and Regions.Review and manage daily project schedules and set warehouse priorities.Maintain ongoing inventory databases for various company warehouses through out the southeast.Oversee and/or perform the staging of materials and equipment to ensure the availability of equipment and materials for installation teams. Prepare proposals that meet customer requirements and satisfy employer profit margins. Select, train, and supervise one or more warehouse assistants. Establish performance expectations and manage productivity. Provide on-going feedback. Approve time cards and paid leave requests.Operate, maintain service and safety records for company vehicles, forklifts and other power tools and equipment as well as warehouse maintenance, coordinating all necessary repairs.Supervise and/or assist with loading and unloading of trucks.Create bills of lading. Properly prepare shipments, Coordinate with freight, air carriers and brokers to get the best rates while still maximizing a high priority standard for shipments to arrive to their destination safely.Analyze warehouse procedures and contribute new ideas to improve storage and efficiencies. Investigate missing or damages to shipments. Resolve discrepancies by following up with vendors and freight companies and submitting appropriate reports. Ensure that all customer-owned equipment is received, handled, inventoried, stored, and shipped with the utmost care.Responsible to ensure high level of safety, security and housekeeping for warehouse in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and customers within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations.
