I am co-founder and co-director of a non-profit Suzuki string school. My primary activity is the instruction and musical development of over 70 children, 40 of whom are my private students. I am also adjunct applied faculty at New mexico School for the Arts. I am a regular member of Santa Fe Pro Musica Chamber Orchestra, and coach in SFPM's "CHAMPS!" chamber music program. My goals are to maintain and refine my skills as a teacher, and to bring the ideals of Shinichi Suzuki to fruition with each child that I teach. I believe that every child can learn.I have 30 years of experience as a professional violinist, concertmaster, conductor and teacher of violin and viola at all levels. I became a Suzuki teacher at age 44, and since then I have logged over 250 hours of SAA Suzuki teacher training in both violin and viola, as well as over 300 hours of observation.
