Some highlights from my contract role as RPA Developer at the Federal Reserve Bank, St. Louis:• Working with Treasury users to establish RPA processes which save $1,000's per year, eliminate human error, and establish an RPA infrastructure that lowers the overhead for future RPA.• Spearheading modernization of critical data mining & reporting services provided daily to the Treasury, saving $100,000+ in yearly maintenance costs.• Collaborating w/ product owner and end users to establish RPA tech stack, candidate processes, user stories, scope, acceptance criteria, deadlines, user experience, & deliverables.• Establishing and enforcing Python best-practices, reducing RPA maintenance and reducing time-to-production.

Projects accomplished in my role within the Custom Design Engineering Department of Focal Point:• Proposed, designed, and implemented 5 proof-of-concept VBA projects which led to $300,000/year increase in job submission throughput• Led development of RPA system while collaborating with a team of 8 engineers which boosted department performance by 4,000 hours/year• Built VBA tools in Excel to increase submittal job throughput by $100,000/year.

During my time as a Design Engineer at Indiana Marine Products, my notable accomplishments include:• Created AutoCAD automation tools, increasing job throughput by $250,000/year indefinitely• Utilized data mining to automate BOM creation, with time savings of 20%/job • Introduced tech consultant to use computer vision and machine learning to automate repetitive tasks, saving hundreds of engineering hours

Kingsville, Texas

I had the opportunity to participate in a 10-week, NSF-funded research program, in which I used the building-energy simulation software EnergyPlus to analyze the effectiveness of sea-water-source heat-pumps in hot, coastal climates. The program was characterized by research, massive data acquisition and subsequent analysis, weekly progress reporting, periodic presentations, faculty mentoring and discussion, drafting of a final deliverable, and a final presentation. While the whole program was fantastic, my fellow student-researchers really made it an unforgettable time.
