I have helped this small growing business by fully revamping their inventory system and identifying process improvements to create better efficiency throughout the plant and provide more accurate inventory systems for decision making. I have implemented control procedures, an inventory general ledger system, inventory tracking, an allocation, WIP, and FG system, and reorganized all inventory. I have also implemented a system to generate a consolidated cut list for the machinist which has greatly increased efficiency and accuracy, leading to increased on time purchase orders and less scrap. Floor space and organization has been continually improved by the implementation of storage racks and designating specific areas and racks for products. This has led to greater efficiency and organization, and items no longer get lost on the floor. I’m continually looking to identify opportunities for process and organization improvements.
