Responsible for:• Management of “in house” innovation; developing and implementing company-wide innovation frameworks and processes for the management of internal ideas. Oversaw a project to develop a “ship to ship” LNG transfer hose. • Was directly responsible for all aspects of the project from budget to staff. • Product development through a series of prototypes and design iterations testing initially with LN2. Looking at all aspects from material selection, geometric design, manufacture, testing and failure analysis.• Was responsible for the safe design, construction and use of an LNG test facility. Recorded no incidents in 6 months of testing.• Annual budget of $ 0.5 Million and a team of 3 people. • Experienced with the HSSE implications of working with cryogenic materials. • Product achieved type approval and is now on the market.
