Working as part of the Helpdesk team providing 2nd and 3rd line telephone and on site support to 120+ corporate customers. Supervising the day to day running of the Helpdesk ensuring Jobs are allocated to the correct Engineer and handled within the agreed SLA.Responsibilities• Taking and logging customer calls onto the helpdesk system• Analysing problems and providing solutions within defined SLA time limits.• Providing best practice advice to customers regarding network efficiency.• Supporting customers networks and systems includingo Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012 (including SBS)o Vmware and HyperVo Exchange Server 2003 to 2013o Storage devices such as MSA and Netappo Citrix Xenappo Firewalls including ISA server, ASA/Pix and Watchguardo Symantec Backup Exec and other backup softwareo Web and Mail filtering systems o Desktop operating systems including Windows XP, Vista and Win 7.+ Mac OS-X

Responsibilities• Installation and Administration of the corporate network based on Netgear and Cisco hardware includingo Installation of Pix firewalls, Routers, switches, cabling and wireless access points.o Implementation and management of Vlans and VPN linkso Using monitoring software to identify faults and risks.• Installation and administration of the Windows 2003 / 2008 Active directory Server infrastructure spanning 3 sites and multiple domains.o Installation of servers, software and San storage (MSA1000).o Administration of User Accounts, Access rights, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.• Installation and administration of E-mail systems primarily based on Exchange 2003 / 2007 and MailMarshal security.o Installation of systems, certificates and calculating storage requirements,.o Designing and implementing security policies and reporting breaches to CTO.o Establishing connectivity to Blackberry servers and other E-mail systems required by projects (Novell Groupwise, Lotus Domino / Notes)• Providing technical support to Software Engineers, Testers and Project Managers to ensure projects were resourced and delivered effectively.• Providing software and hardware support for 250 staff based in 4 locations including London and Poland. • Reporting officer to two support staff
