Born in Northumberland and educated at Mowden Hall Prep School Nr Corbridge and latterly Fettes College, Edinburgh, I graduated in 1987 from Kingston University with a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management, and spent 9 years at Clifford Tee & Gale, a general practice, building surveying and architectural practice with emphasis on corporate client work in the manufacturing and distribution sector. In 1997 I joined Rogers Chapman as an Associate Director specialising in Industrial Agency based at their Heathrow office with specific focus on the Airport and West London. Subsequently I was appointed a Divisional Director and Head of National Industrial Agency located in Central London.In 2002, I joined niche Industrial Agency Practice, Brown Harknett, as an equity Director who were acquired by Savills in September 2005. Thereafter, having worked closely with co Brown Harknett director and Savills National Head, Graham Brown, I took over responsbility as National Head of Savills Industrial and Logistics Agency at the start of 2013. Appointed Savills UK Board member April 2022.I specialise in development and agency advice in the industrial and logistics sector and have over 25 years experience. In addition to undertaking a range of projects on a national level, I retain specialist knowledge of the Heathrow, West London and Thames Valley markets and also focus on activities along the M1 corridor.
