Strong experience within various area of the business - mainly involved with:# Web Strategy & Sales - service and grow the businesses online customer accounts as well as enhancing our online presence. All this whilst developing our online strategy to become market leaders in the toy & giftware industry.# Risk Management - Being a wholesale trade company we deal with numerous overseas businesses from Europe, Asia and North America. As our product ranges are imported, I deal with foreign currency on a daily basis to make sure that we can keep our product costs consistent.# Trade Fairs - In our industry there are several organisations that host trade fairs throughout the year. We currently attend trade fairs in Melbourne, Sydney & Auckland. As these trade fairs account for a great opportunity to present new product ranges, meet and service existing customers and to introduce new customers to our company it is imperative that the trade fairs are organised and well presented. Over the course of the year I will work with other relevant colleagues within the company as well as liaising with 3rd party companies to get these trade fairs up and running.# IT & Telecommunications - With a tertiary education within the IT field it is my responsibility to manage the companies IT & telecommunications infrastructure. I will liaise with our IT support company on a regular basis to ensure that the IT systems are running smoothly so that staff within the company experience minimal downtime.
