Policy Analyst for the Canadian Secretariat of the Sustainable Blue Economy Conference, a global conference held in Nairobi, Kenya on November 26-28, 2018, which hosted more than 17,600 participants from over 160 countries.Duties include writing Ministerial briefing notes on the Conference for international bilateral meetings, preparing invitations from the Fisheries and Oceans Minister to send to international Heads of State and Ministers.I invited and coordinated high profile candidates from Business, Civil Society, and Academic sectors to come and speak at or participate in the Conference. While also arranging for international participants to receive funding from the United Nations so they could attend the conference on behalf of the Government of Canada.
