My 26 years’ experience in dealing with clients and suppliers and a further 17 years dealing with the shop floor as well as third party inspectors, has provided me with good cross departmental and client/college expertise.I have worked over a number of departments starting in retail, then as an NDE inspector moving on to goods inward, material certification then to office based document control along with assisting in sourcing and internal auditing at the various companiesI am of an analytical nature with an aptitude for quickly absorbing new information and systems, as well as being computer literate in Excel and Word I am SAP, PowerPoint and Adobe aware.My eagerness and ability to learn new skills and cope with responsibility has always impressed employers, as is my ability to cope under pressure this has led to my being given extra responsibilities and helped the company I have worked for to move me to the most productive roles.Although I am comfortable working alone, I now work as part of a team, aiming share information and meet deadlines, I am happy to assist others with their workload when requested. In my spare time I teach fly tying as well as coach trout and salmon casting as a qualified SANA (Scottish Angling National Association) coach. My other interests include cooking, reading, theatre, movies, rod building and of course fly fishing.I hope this gives you a small insight into myself and look forward to expanding this at my interview.
