As Technical Director for EDAROTH, I am responsible for all design and technical management relating to both the development of our offsite manufactured housing product and the delivery of individual schemes. I have been involved in the direction and creation of EDAROTH from its inception. At EDAROTH, a subsidiary of Atkins, we offer a new way to tackle the social and affordable housing challenge. We unlock under-utilised land assets using modern methods of construction to deliver high-quality social and affordable housing within existing communities.I am a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Chartered member of the Institution of Structural Engineers. I graduated from Cambridge University in 2009 and joined Atkins in December 2011. I have more than a decade of design and technical experience in a range of market sectors across the UK.I have delivered new-build, extension and refurbishment projects in a range of markets for both public and private sector clients. My experience includes projects in the residential, commercial, retail, education, transport oriented development, rail and aviation markets. I have particular expertise in the advancement and implementation of modern methods of construction, as well as complex oversite residential and commercial development. I have successfully delivered offsite manufactured solutions into the residential, retail and aviation sectors.In recent years, I have established and led an influential technical and design team at Atkins which has supported a range of public sector land-owners to unlock thousands of homes on complex and constrained land assets. My clients include local authorities, regulated bodies such as Transport for London and registered providers. I enjoy working with those who share my passion for delivering genuinely affordable, high-quality homes to those who need them.
