General Responsibilities Maintain inventory records Write test procedures Create and maintain Visio network and product diagrams Create and update instruction sheets and training documents Consult with clients and vendors Implement and maintain network security policies Provide reports and graphical dataEquipment Management Maintain , program, and troubleshoot all equipment; including cloud firewall, servers, routers, and switches Identify/design products, services, methods, software, and equipment to enhance customer experience Install equipment and software; including new and existing products Communicate instructions for installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment to remote personnel Program and turn up equipment both locally and remotely including instruction of remote personnel Advise other departments of equipment installation and usage parameters Monitor and provide monitoring tools to support personnel Provide support and training to appropriate personnel through equipment lifecycle Identify and replace end of life equipmentIP Address Management Request and maintain IPv4, IPv6 and ASN allocations from the RIR Assign and document IP address assignments; including public and private space Maintain EBGP, IBGP, MPBGP, LDP and OSPF tables and policies Communicate routing requirements to peering partnersTier 3 Support Provide highest level of support for all departments Update ticketing system Communicate technical bulletins and troubleshooting information as needed Track anomalies and take appropriate action when warranted Reproduce and analyze problems; including lab scenarios
