Richard has extensive experience working with families and business owners regarding portfolio management and assistance with financial & estate planning needs. He was previously a Financial Advisor with RBC Dain Rauscher and Morgan Stanley where he earned designations of Retirement Planning Specialist and Estate Planning Consultant. Richard is Past President, serving for 17 years, of The 100 Club of San Antonio, a 501(c)3 organization which serves the children and families of fallen law-enforcement and firefighters in San Antonio and Bexar County. This includes immediate financial assistance and family counseling following a line-of-duty death and higher education scholarships for dependent children. He has assisted the organization is growing revenues almost tenfold and adding 6 new service programs. They include Line of Duty Injury Assistance, First Responder Scholarships for Safety Related Training, A Bridge Program for Outreach to Schools and Community, Coping, Counseling and Mental Health Awareness, a K9 Fund and a $100,000 Covid19 Protection Equipment Fund.He is current board member of the San Antonio Fire Museum and the FBI San Antonio Citizens Academy Alumni Association.He co-chairs the Scholarship Committee of Alamo Heights Methodist Church and serves on the Safety Committee and formerly the Foundation Board.Richard is the former Executive Director of the Wade Richmond Foundation. A private foundation that provides as many as 4 selected local non-profits with $100,000 matching grants each year. He is also a graduate of the FBI S.A. Citizens Academy, S.A.
