Drove the initiative to measure and analyze the mechanics of the new torque limitingCard-lok™ clamp system. Working to isolate the root cause of uncontrolled variation in order toimprove clamp force performance. The data was analyzed using Lean Six Sigma techniquessuch as, Cause and Effect, multiple regression analysis, and Kaizen, resulting inidentifying the contributing factor of the clamp force variation. This project is estimatedto save Pentair approximately $110,000.
