Rick is navy veteran with over 4 years of Forward Deployed Naval Forces Operations. He strives to have a professional and goal driven mentality. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a BBA in Business Integrated Studies in Finance and Real Estate. He is eager to get involved with the financial services community. Currently, Rick is working full time at Altus Group as a Property Tax Manager. Prior to working with Altus, Rick was in the United States Navy working in the Forward Deployed Naval Forces. He became an expert database manager assisting in ship navigation compiling of 12 hour rotating shifts. He possess excellent operational, and managerial skills implemented daily during at sea duties. Theses duties include operating and troubleshooting the Global Command Control System – Maritime database for 1200 hours in a span of 5 months at sea while maintaining 100% ship readiness. He was a key contributor to the hardest working crew in the Navy, set the standard in the Forward Deployed Naval Forces with outstanding work ethic correcting over 713 compartment discrepancies and helping Deck Department earn a 95% overall score during a major shipboard inspection. He also professionally drafted classified and secret information of more than 2,000 messages resulting in 0 errors. For his efforts he was awarded 2 Letters of commendation and a Navy/Marine Core Achievement Medal.Rick is highly motivated and excited to get involved in the business side of the world. His experiences and successes provide a solid foundation to build on. He wants to make a career in the financial services field.
