Responsible for managing and planning all woodworking operations. Worked closely with plant engineering to insure products were developed, designed, and built in a manner that exceeded customers expectations. Responsible for costing and quoting all wood products. Oversaw day-to-day operations, purchasing, training, inventory management, planning and budgeting for future growth. Developed, recommended, and implemented new methods, and procedures that enhanced manufacturing capabilities.

Responsible for all plant operations including lumber cutting, machining, metal processing, and assembly of all products. Main function was to insure all products met or exceeded customer expectations while controlling all costs. Responsible for process development, product development, planning, policy development, scheduling, purchasing, shipping, and human resources.

0n a contract basis, responsible for manufacturing of hardwood panel, sash, and flush doors as well as modernization of the plant. At beginning of contract, plant had capability to manufacture 300 doors a day. The main focus of this position was to change the methodology and process so the plant could build 5,000 doors per day—totally veneered. Tasks included process development and design, goal setting, planning and budgeting, performance reviews, and day-to-day management of production. Functional areas that reported to this position included Production Control, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, and Kiln Dying. Labor force consisted of approx. 350 employees.

Responsible for all manufacturing activities...approx. 450 employees.

Responsible for all manufacturing activities at all three of Jessup's manufacturing plants...two on the West Coast and one in Michigan. Three General Managers reported to this position. Total of about 435 employees.

Responsible for all activities at the Chico, CA. operations... approx. 100 employees.
