Formerly a senior executive in the communications and broadband industry with responsibilities in general management, operations, engineering, data and IT, I have spent recent years working with companies and public organisations to implement data, BI and analytics projects. Information and insight is improved with solutions that bring better historic reporting and current and predictive analytics to the desktop and to mobile devices. Working practices are improved through data integration and automation.My career has encompassed work in the UK and worldwide supporting the delivery of communications to homes and businesses as it underwent major changes and as the internet came to transform our lives.I have expertise with service delivery to residential and business customers and with managing the organisations, processes and systems to address the different needs of each. As a result of my long and broad-based experience I am a specialist in Billing and Operational Support Systems (BSS/OSS) and ERP systems as well as managing the technical and operational aspects of communications and customer facing businesses.I was recently elected a Fellow of the Society for Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) having been a member throughout my career.Fascinated by science and technology from an early age, I'm still waiting eagerly for the the early promises of flying cars and holidays on the moon to be fulfilled.
