This initially involved assisting with and occasionally leading meetings with various Municipal departments and Administration. Administered Township relational databases and analyzed data for projects between departments, outside firms, and the general public. Day-to-day data maintenance was supplemented by utilizing available technology such as QGIS, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and useful tools such as ModelBuilder and Python scripting. Upgraded the GIS-based asset management software, while lowering annual operating costs by approximately $10,000 and expanding the active user base. Supervised a Fall 2017 GIS Intern utilizing GPS hardware for field work to update existing datasets, and create new data applications.

Hired to manage the geographic data of the Township, including implementing and updating accurate data into GIS, administering the relational databases in MSSQL Server, and directing the best use of Township-wide server systems. Upgraded hardware and software, including the public-facing Interactive Map Application and office Intranet page. Collaborated with the Engineering, Planning, Construction, and Public Works departments to integrate spatial data and asset management into various projects including an Affordable Housing mandate, Tax Map updates, and feature inventorying and synchronizing.

This process involved periodic reviews and revisions to all aspects of the map- Assisted in the creation of Denville Township, NJ Tax Maps by drawing line work and confirming address locations- Updated county records of Florham Park Borough, NJ Tax Maps by converting line work to its appropriate location and drawing missing building footprints- Revised lot and block accuracy of Jefferson Township, NJ Tax Maps

- Created a detailed spreadsheet of vacant properties partially intersecting flood zone boundaries in Essex, Somerset, and Union County, New Jersey- Produced eleven adjoining municipal maps to help visualize the affected areas along with property specific maps to show surrounding areas in even greater detail
