Field Service engineer. Basically a one stop shop for all things IT when we visit GP surgeries. Main role is visiting GP Surgeries across NHS estates in East Yorks, North & NE Lincs upgrading facilities, installing software/hardware and also where possible, clearing all known IT issues on site. Issues range from password resets through complex security issues, hardware/software not working, installing new products and testing them etc. Getting familiar with lots of new software in the health industry incl. Welch Allyn, Numed, Spirometry, SystmOne, Emis, IRIS Payroll/Accounts, Sage 50, ECG hardware, BPM hardware and more. Lots of liaison with 3rd party providers, CCG's, Doctor's, Nurses, Practice Managers and back room staff.
