Responsible for all corporate accounting and finance functions of this growing and dynamic organization. Recently acquired by Private Equity, the company’s accounting function required an upgrade to the accounting platform as well as major enhancements to the internal operations system to provide enhanced reporting requirements and management tools. Managed the implementation of the Microsoft NAV accounting system to support new reporting requirements and a newly acquired local competitor. Provided cash forecasting and treasury management, financial reporting and analysis, revenue recognition policies, banking relationships, insurance review and tax compliance and reporting. Oversaw the integration of all the accounting functions of the acquired company including customer billing, AR, AP, and financial reporting. Also managed the integration of all employees and human resources issues, including payroll and benefits transition in less than 60 days. Developed 2009 forecast and $30MM+ budget for multiple locations and departments.

Responsible for corporate accounting and finance functions of this growing organization. Led implementation of gross margin analysis to support fixed bid project pricing. Provided cash forecasting and treasury management, financial reporting and analysis, revenue recognition policies, banking relationships, and tax compliance and reporting. Provided accounting and financial reporting for this talent rich organization that supported a strong customer base and their needs and requests for unique and specialized resources. Coordinated with largest customer to implement an automated weekly payment process which increased payment cycle from five weeks to one week, resulting in > $500K of additional cash availability. Provided guidance and support to the General Manager of the company’s Bangalore, India operation. Negotiated for a new office lease which improved the operations location and improved the working environment for 25 engineers. Implemented a cash forecasting system to anticipate this operation cash needs and established a weekly call to discuss operational issues

Led cash forecasting and treasury management, financial reporting and analysis, product pricing, revenue recognition policies, banking relationships and tax compliance and reporting. Provided accounting and financial support for acquisition of a start-up organization that supported the company’s new strategy and redirection. Acquisition resulted in relocation of the production of the company with a 3rd party and a significant reduction in the workforce of the target company. Negotiated employment and earn out contracts for the principals of the acquired organization, finalization of the cash and equity exchange and operational oversight in management of all related accounting functions. Established Customer Service function to service partners (Fortune 500 Companies) and customers. Required creation of e-commerce systems, FAQ’s and consumer policies for handling product and customer issues with an internal team and an outsourced customer service provider

Responsible for corporate accounting and finance functions of this Inc. Magazine 500 List Member (469). Also responsible for cash forecasting and treasury management, financial reporting and analysis, revenue recognition policies, budgeting, investor relations, banking relationships, tax compliance and reporting and annual audits. Led all operational departments including customer relationship management, facilities, legal department and customer support. Additionally, responsible for the Human Resource function including recruiting, performance evaluations, annual reviews, compensation and benefit plans.

Managed financial operations including cash forecasting and management, financial reporting and analysis, revenue recognition policies, budgeting, strategic planning, Board of Director communications and banking relationships. Managed and directed the product development and support teams.  Developed a successful Product Plan with management that led to a leadership change in the development team and to a revised product offering that aligned product features with the needs and requirements of Fortune 1000 organizations. Offering allowed for licensing fees of $500K+ and significantly changed the direction of the company, and increased revenues which led to a healthy positive cash flow position.

Responsible for financial operations, legal and human resources functions. Oversaw cash forecasting and management, financial reporting, revenue recognition policies, budgeting, strategic planning, Board of Director communications and banking relationships. Managed all legal issues and legal staff including risk management, negotiation of customer contracts, vendor agreements, intellectual property registration and protection and all employment contracts. Led Human Resource functions including recruiting, performance evaluations, annual reviews, and competitive compensation for over 150 employees. Oversaw liquidation of the company’s assets and equitable distribution of assets to all interested parties.  Led and managed as COO, the operational and financial challenges of the demands that fueled growth of resources by 100% in 6 months. During the dot.com boom, demand for resources was significantly outpacing supply. Implemented a support structure that included team members from human resources, project management, sales management and aggressive financial requirements that enabled adding over 60 billable resources in 6 months which generated an additional $7MM annually.  Led the effort to seek and secure financial capital to fund the company’s growth. As the result of the creation of the PPM, a highly effective presentation and a well planned road show we were able to secure over $22.0MM of new capital at a very attractive valuation.
