I recently graduated in the fall of 2017 from the University of Houston. My goals are to pursue a career in management information systems and achieve certifications in multiple expertise such as communication skills, personal growth, leadership programs, and learning different coding programs.I want to build a network security company in the future. A company secures and maintains other companies' assets by protecting operating systems, asset protection services, private security services, and other benefits. I hope I can extend to a network security company worldwide.I believe anyone can achieve a goal or dream. Anything is possible if you take small steps toward what you think and work towards those goals. If you do something you hate, you'll never achieve a higher motivation to do or create something beyond your limitations. You can only start from scratch and go on from there. If you have to fall multiple times from starting up, you can always stand up with the knowledge to avoid failure. The only way you can fail is if you give up. For me, I'm currently starting to learn how to be an adult and find a full-time career. I want to find a mentor who can teach me life lessons and be a more vital asset in the business industry. As a first-generation Asian American, life has taught me these lessons to survive in America's realism. First, you must seek motivation from your family and push forth for a better future for yourself and your loved ones. I can say these things because my dad has fought in the Vietnam War, became a prisoner of war, and came to America in the 1990s with nothing in his pocket. My family is now living as middle-class Asian Americans. So I'm proud to say whom I am and working hard towards the American Dream.
