With over 17 years of diverse and progressive experience in the US Army, I am a versatile and dynamic leader who combines musical direction and international relations to foster morale, camaraderie, and cultural understanding. As the Commander and Conductor of the 8th Army Band, I spearhead the design and execution of various musical programs, from official military functions to public performances, that broaden our reach and impact within the local Korean community and beyond.Leveraging my background in East Asian Studies, I enhance the effectiveness of our musical outreach programs, thereby strengthening the ROK/US alliance and promoting a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect.
