Throughout my school years, a common theme echoed during parents evenings: “no matter where Richard sits, he will talk to everyone around him”.. I’ve conveniently left out the distraction element, but even from a young age, I have recognised the power of effective communication. Now, it’s not only one of my biggest skills but one of my key values. As head of the HR division at Investigo, specialising in the public and third sectors, I lead an excellent team comprising individuals with a combined experience of over 25 years. We excel in connecting exceptional talent with government organisations, universities, membership bodies, and non-profits/charities. Our approach revolves around streamlining the recruitment process to cater to our clients' specific needs and availability. Whether it's fulfilling routine/BAU hires or assembling project teams for transformative initiatives, we offer a personalised service tailored to each organisation's requirements, encompassing everything from organisational to cultural design and delivery. Leadership is my true passion, nurtured through my successful management of two men's amateur football teams – which included going through an entire league campaign unbeaten and a league cup win. I find immense satisfaction in guiding and empowering others to unlock their full potential. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me residing in Essex with my wife and daughter. Despite being a long-suffering Tottenham Hotspur fan, I love football and sports in general, particularly those involving a ball. I am also a huge film fan, whether that’s indulging in a Netflix binge or going to the cinema. With over a decade in the HR and talent sphere, I've built invaluable connections.
