Who am I? A solid business person and revenue contributor in the information and communication technologies space. Much of my work has been in R&D and operational test environments with OEM's, NEM's and operators of cellular and wireline networks. My sales approach and experience has been in a solutions and consultative sales role creating good buying environments to help clients make good buying decisions. I have worked with a wide variety of customers which include direct and indirect or channel accounts here in the US as well as in Europe and Asia. The variety of sales environments have required the use of multiple territory and account development/management skills which is why I mention "hunting, fishing and farming" in my title. I am guided in the sales process by the phrase "seek to understand and to then be understood". I have found this approach generally advances the sales process while keeping the demands on internal organizational resources low. Listening to the customer and asking insightful questions are keys to this process.The results?
