Acquired with team by Experian as a carve-out from Landmark to reinforce Experian’s offering to the insurance sector by providing property data and loss modelling expertise and products. • Transitioned the acquired products, cloud platform and data science capability into Experian’s technical ecosystem; completed all post-acquisition objectives.• Rebuilt loss models to use credit bureau data with significant improvement in predictive power.• Conceived and developed new peril products for home insurers which were successfully launched with promising early sales. • Conceived and developed a property valuation model for the mortgage origination market, a key strategic objective for the business.

Set up from scratch and ran a new division of Landmark charged with exploiting their holdings of property data. • Created the innovative No-Questions-Asked home insurance loss model which uniquely allows an insurer to price household insurance based on just the address of the property; culminated in carve-out sale to Experian.• Managed sales, contract negotiation, cloud platform, data acquisition in addition to being actively hands-on in the data science.• Created a climate change impact service that helped mortgage lenders assess their portfolio exposure for the regulator; acquired 8 mortgage lender customers in the first year.• Built extremely efficient elite team; resource cost to revenue ratio 1:10. • Grew division EBIT from £0 to £2m.

Cofounded Prodat Systems which created the mapping product Promap. Coded the first version of the product and then ran the IT function. When Prodat was acquired by DMGT it had 30 members of staff with £3m turnover.
