Ngā Rangatahi Toa Creative Arts Initiative (Auckland, NZ) – a charitable trust deeply immersed in kaupapa Māori and bi-cultural practice, NRT delivers creative arts activities that connect with young New Zealanders who have been excluded from main-stream school, aiming to support these rangatahi to find purpose and direction, and successfully re-engage with education and / or move onto employment.

Contributed to the Artistic leadership of the company, including touring programming, dancer development, and creative contracting and support. As well, responsible for overall business development of the company, brand growth, stakeholder relationships and audience development strategies, and produced performance seasons and all regional touring (VIC, NSW, TAS). Led staff performance management and professional development.

Supporting artistic leadership (dance teaching and choreographic support) and working in the studio alongside dancers, choreographers and creative team. Focus on re-establishing strong community and education programs and developing regional touring partnerships and opportunities. Responsible for grant application to trusts and foundations, as well as program development and delivery and staff recruitment. Designed and implemented small dances || big stories, a one-to-one mentoring dance program that supported young people enrolled in the Flexible Learning Centre alternative education system (Mt Isa + Townsville, QLD). Designed and implemented dance your heart out a mixed ability workshop program with adults supported by disability service provider Kith and Kin Association Ltd. Partnership with North Queensland Toyota Cowboys (NRL) for community flash mob at Dairy Farmers Stadium.
